2.4 Technical Data

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and page request times. We do not use this data to identify individual users beyond what is necessary to maintain platform security.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each has its own privacy policy and data handling practices:

Supabase

Vercel

Hosts and serves the platform's web application. Standard server request data (IP address, request path, timestamps) passes through Vercel infrastructure. Vercel is a US-based provider.

Zoho Mail

Used to send transactional emails such as account confirmation and password reset emails. Only your email address is shared with Zoho for this purpose.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

  • Your profile information is removed from public view immediately
  • Your uploaded files are marked as deleted and no longer accessible
  • Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days before permanent deletion
  • Comments and activity logs associated with your account are also removed

7. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or out-of-date information (most fields can be updated directly in Settings)
  • Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated personal information
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint if you believe we have mishandled your personal information

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@huematrix3d.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and access controls on our database. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and you use the platform at your own risk.

9. Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at legal@huematrix3d.com.au so we can attempt to resolve it.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
